April is Stress Awareness Month
We organized activities and events to help support the team, with skills for coping with stress and handling pressure.
To kick things off, at the start of the month every team member received a wellbeing goodie bag filled with various relaxing items to help combat stress and as a thank you for all of the continued hard work delivered.
Possibly the biggest new addition this month has been the grand opening of our very own onsite gym facility.
Following this, we had a visit from former SAS operator and star of SAS Who Dares Wins, Jay Morton who came in to give a motivational speech about stress management and resilience strategies. His talk centered around the accomplishments of his life and the ways he has found best to deal with the stressful situations that he has faced.
We all know how it feels to feel the physical symptoms of stress. That's why later into the month we had Stress Buster Day with CT Osteopathy, where employees were able to book an appointment slot throughout the day and enjoy a massage of their choice.
Recently, we have also partnered with Sally Squibb, a local CBT and mindfulness therapist, to offer employees an allowance for her services. Sally’s therapies help to treat conditions including anxiety, depression, stress management and habit disorders. As an upgraded benefit to our employee wellbeing package, any staff who would like to access this service can, with complete confidentiality.

With a key focus on staff health, this facility has been fitted with a wide range of equipment to provide our team with everything they need to support a healthy lifestyle. We hope this added benefit for our employees helps to promote a healthy lifestyle, work life balance and grants a great opportunity to sweat away any stresses.
